1847413 - Error when Updating Inventory Cost of a Material - Perpetual Cost Method: Standard

You attempt to update the cost price of a material having the Perpetual Cost Method Standard for a certain valuation interval. In General Ledger work center you made sure that the relevant posting periods are open for operational postings and postable today in the Process Control.

When trying to save the updated material you are receiving error messages indicating the update didn't succeed,e.g.:
Journal entry type missing
DEBIT_CREDIT_CODE missing
Save failed
