1849373 - BI 4.0 IDT Returns Boolean Values as 0 (Zero) and -1 (Negative One)

Symptom

  • In BI 4.0, the Information Design Tool (IDT) has an object that's defined as the Boolean data type. When "show values" is selected, it displays zero (0) and negative one (-1). This can cause issues in Web Intelligence (webi) reports.
  • In MS SQL, it shows that the values are zero and one.
