1849721 - Error "Failed to open the connection Details:Logon to underlying database failed" in Crystal Reports

Symptom

  • Dynamic parameter appears static when the report is refreshed after saving to the enterprise.
  • Command object parameter when changed from static to dynamic runs with LOVs (List Of Values) for the first time; however when the report is saved to the enterprise it appears static again.
  • LOVs when scheduled from Business View Manager throws error "Failed to open the connection Details:Logon to underlying database failed".
