1849885 - CBS build fails - file path too long

Symptom

DC (Development Component) build fails in CBS (Component Build Service) server with either

  • A warning: "This component contains long pathnames, this may lead to build errors or unexpected results." that is written in CBS build log.
  • Or error: "[wdgen] [Info] Catching throwable Could not generate file. The file path is too long" can be found in the CBS build log. Note: The messages here are from the WD DC build. The similar problem also can occur during the build of other DC types.
  • Or " [System.err] CreateException: Could not get a valid path for Controller/file "[file/controller_name]" (path too long?)!" is written in CBS build log.
