• Two PSA or changelog entries exist for the same DataSource or DataStore Object (ODS).
• After changing a DataSource (for example, adding a new field), a new PSA version is created and the old version remains.
• After a database migration, a new PSA version is created and the old version remains.
• Running RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY shows inconsistency for the old PSA version, while the new version is consistent.
• RSRV check "Consistency Between PSA Partitions and SAP Administration Information" shows a red error for the old version and green for the new version; partition issues are typically involved.
• The following message may be seen: "request is in obsolete version of datasource."
