1852160 - How to Delete or Remove The Cost Assignments In Purchase Order Item.

Symptom

To edit current cost assignment in a Purchase order Item, the Add Row or Remove buttons are inactive.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Purchase Request and Orders work center.
  2. Select Purchase Order view
  3. Select the Purchase Order XYZ (purchase order ID).
  4. Choose Edit  Button
  5. Go to Items tab.
  6. Go to Account Assignment sub tab.
  7. The Add Row and Remove buttons are grayed out.

Resolution

It is not allowed to Add or Delete the Account Assignments once the Purchase Order is ordered. This is the desired behavior of the system and hence no change is planned in future releases.
