1853679 - Cannot Reverse Closure of Purchasing Contract

You want to reverse the status of a Contract that is set to Closed.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Sourcing and Contracting work center.
2. Choose the Contracts view.
3. Show: All Contracts and click button Go.
4. The result list displays : All Contracts.
5. Choose Contract X from the result list. (X refers to contract ID)
6. Click button Edit.
7. Click button Close Contract.
8. Status is set on Closed.

It is not possible to reverse a closed contract.

We can only suggest you to create a new contract while copying the closed contract.
Kindly follow the below steps to copy the closed contract :

1. Go to Sourcing and Contracting work center.
2. Choose the Contracts view.
3. Show All Contracts and Go.
4. The result list displays : All Contracts.
5. Choose Contract X from the result list.
6. Click button Copy.
7. Edit the details accordingly.
8. Release the contract.

 Note : It is not possible to activate the closed contracts from the backend as well.
