The Partner Companies view is not available in the General Ledger work center.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. In the General Ledger work center navigate to the Master Data view.
2. Here you are missing the Partner Companies view.

The scoping element Consolidation Preparation is not included in your project scope.

1. In the Business Configuration work center navigate to the Implementation Projects view.
2. Select the First Implementation project and press Edit Project Scope.
3. In phase 3-Scoping select All Elements in the Show field.
4. Navigate to Financial and Management Accounting and there to General Ledger.
5. Here tick the box for the element Consolidation Preparation.
6. Click Next two times, review the changes and then press Finish.
7. Now assign the Partner Companies view to your user in the Application and User Management work center.
8. Just to be safe log off and log-in to your system.
9. The Partner Companies view is now available in the General Ledger work center.
