1855351 - Inconsistent Status In Choosing Approve in Different Views

You notice the status for Approval Task is inconsistent in choosing Approve on the overview of UI and editable view.

Once you choose the Approve button on the overview for approval task, the status for this task will change from New to Completed, when you first Edit this task then choose the Approve button in edit mode, the status for this task will not change.
Eventually this task will disappear if you navigate to the over all view again.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Managing My Area work center.
2. Go to the Approvals view.
3. Show Supply Invoice Approval Tasks.
4. Select the relevant task then choose the Edit button.
5. Select the Approval button.

You notice the status for this task did not change. Once you navigate to the overview again,this task appear.

This is an expected system behavior. From technical perspective, once you choose edit the task then approve it, on the edit mode it has its own session which does not influence the screen session,that is why the status will not change.

This is the expected behavior of the SAP Business ByDesign system.
