1855993 - Viewing xls and pdf instances of crystal reports fail with 404 errors on Websphere BI launchpad

Symptom

  • Viewing a successful xls and pdf instance of a Crystal Report based on SAP BW and using prompts fails with an HTTP 404 error on BI launchpad when deployed on Websphere Application Server.
  • Viewing same type of instances from sample Crystal and Web Intelligence reports works fine.
  • The issue is only seen on BI Launchpad deployed on Websphere.
  • The same workflow is seen to work fine when tested with BI Launchpad deployed on tomcat.
  • The issue is Replicable on SP5 patch streams Patch 5.5 and 5.7.
