1856640 - Timeslice in fm_item_by_index() when executing LOAD DATABASE for archive database - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Execution of LOAD DATABASE for an archive database may fail with a timeslice error in the function fm_item_by_index(), as follows:

kernel  timeslice -2001, current process infected at 804e57d0 (fm_item_by_index+0x10)

  • This problem occurs ONLY for the load of an archive database.
  • The process performing LOAD DATABASE is terminated.
  • LOAD DATABASE failure returns a timeslice error and stack trace.
