1857458 - Error Message "Process agent for exchange rate transmission run is inactive" When Opening an Opportunity

SAP Cloud for Customer core applications

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Navigate to the Opportunities view.
3. Open any existing Opportunity.
4. The system displays the following error message:
   “Process agent for exchange rate transmission run is inactive.”

The issue occurs because the respective user is assigned to the Partner Development work center.

To resolve the issue, perform one of the following actions:

• Remove the access rights for the Partner Development work center from the affected user, or

• Use a Business User who is not assigned to the Partner Development work center.

To deactivate the access rights for the work center, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.

2. Navigate to the Business Users view.

3. Select the relevant user.

4. Click Edit and choose Access Rights.

5. Open the Work Center and View Assignment tab.

6. Locate the identity role PDI_PARTNER_DEVELOPMENT.

7. Deactivate this assignment.

8. Click Save and Close.

After the user logs off and logs on to the system again, the error will no longer occur.
