Symptom

Deploy errors appear while updating the JAVA stack.

java.rmi.RemoteException: Cannot deploy application sap.com/com.sap.engine.XXX..
Reason: Exception during generation of components of application sap.com/com.sap.engine.XXX in container XXX.; nested exception is:
com.sap.engine.services.deploy.exceptions.Server
DeploymentException: Exception during generation of components of application sap.com/com.sap.engine.XXX in container XXX.
...
 Caused by: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError:
com/sap/engine/xxx (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(Native Method)

Where XXX refers to the specific application that cannot be deployed.
