When using the Reference user concept , Every user is tagged to a reference user and hence do not have any "Role" assigned
directly in the SU01 tab.
It seems that this concept fails in SAP Business Objects user administration (CMC).
If the user has access to the backend ABAP through a 'Reference user' then his userId will not be reflected in SAP Business Objects imported Roles.
NOTE
The functionality of reference users is defined in SAP as:
“Reference users are used to equip large numbers of similar users (such as Internet users) with identical authorisations".
