Symptom

Solution manager basic step 3.1 'Configure CA Wily Introscope' returns an error when selecting button 'Import Existing Installation' to add EM:

"Unexcepted error occurs in method AddExistingInstallation (cause by:
Cannot register the EM installation <EM_path>;

com.sap.smd.agent.wily.emsetup.exception.EMInstallationStorageException:
Cannot remove EM installation in repository; nested exception is:
