Symptom

  • A Webi report is based on a BICS connection to a BEx query that has a mandatory date range variable.
  • A Web Service is created based on the Webi report block.
  • When the Web Service is tested and no value is entered for the mandatory date range variable, the message that is displayed in the server response is "Index: 0, Size: 0".
