1860178 - Unable to convert Freehand SQL based DeskI reports that use SQL Server OLEDB connction using Report Conversion Tool

Symptom

  • Report Conversion Tool fails to convert even a simple FreeHand SQL based DeskI reports to WebI if the connection for the FreeHand SQL data provider is based on SQL Server OLEDB. It fails with the following errors-
    "Not Converted : Test_report_OLEDB_test - Free-hand SQL connection problem"
  • It works fine if FreeHand SQL data provider is based on SQL Server ODBC connection.
