1861750 - No Time Intervals Selectable in the GR/IR Clearing Run.

You want to run the GR/IR Clearing Run for for a certain period of time. However in the data selection for the run you do not find the option to enter parameters for a time interval.

1. Go to Inventory Valuation work center.
2. Enter the Periodic Task view and GR/IR Clearing.
3. Via New create a new GR/IR Clearing Run.
4. Enter the relevant parameters.

In the Period/Year field you do not see the option to enter a time interval.

The concept of the GR/IR Clearing Run is not to clear inventory effective amounts and quantities for a selected time interval but open sets with inventory-effective documents (e.g. inbound delivery) for a chosen period.

Especially when the perpetual inventory valuation method is chosen it is recommended to perform the GR/IR Clearing Run at least once a month continuously in order to reflect an accurate view of the current inventory value.
