1861817 - Changes made to backend EIS system connected to via JCO require SUP/SMP to be restarted - SUP/SMP

Symptom

  1. Sybase Unwired Platform(SUP)/SAP Mobile Platform(SMP) is connecting to an SAP backend via Java Connector (JCO)
  2. A deployed Mobile Business Object(MBO) is tied to an existing SAP Remote Function Call(RFC)
  3. The existing SAP RFC structures are modified
  4. The deployed MBO is updated and re-deployed
  5. The newly updated and deployed MBO fails until the SUP services are restarted
