1861981 - Things to check when error message 'Error in opening RFC destination' appears in GRAC_EAM

Symptom

RFC connection to the backend systems is working fine in SM59 and connections settings are maintained in SPRO.
When users execute transaction GRAC_EAM they get message stating 'Error in opening RFC destination' and the FF ids are appearing as disabled.
