1862065 - In a Sales Document you are not able to Set Different Tax Rates Separately for the Different Price Components Like Packaging, Insurance Charges and Freight

In a sales document like Sales Order, you are not able to set different tax rates separately for the different price components like Packaging, Insurance Charges and Freight.

Follow the steps below to reproduce the issue:

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to the Sales Orders view.
3. Show All Orders and Find XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the sales order).
4. Edit the sales order ID XYZ.
5. Go to the Pricing and Invoicing tab.
6. Select the Pricing tab.

You do not see any possibility to have different tax rates separately for the different price components like Packaging, Insurance Charges and Freight.

Follow the steps below to check the Pricing Strategy in the Business Configuration work center:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview view.
3. Search for the Configure Price Strategy activity.
4. View the Configure Price Strategy activity.

You cannot find any possibility to implement the separate price strategy for the different price components like Packaging, Insurance Charges and Freight. The only possibility for the additional charges is to include it in Freight.

The functionality of having different taxes for different price components is not supported in the current release of the SAP Business ByDesign.

This is the expected behavior of the SAP Busienss ByDesign system.
