1869427 - Error(s) occured in phase PREP_INPUT/ASCS_CHK

Symptom

  • During the update of a system using Software Update Manager (SUM), the following error appears in the PREP_INPUT/ASCS_CHK phase:
    Last error code set: Instance profile <profile name> does not fulfill
    the SAP naming conventions (also in High-Availability scenarios!)
  • The profile file mentioned in the error does follow the correct naming convention
