1869615 - HWC operation fails with NULL Values Not Supported Error

Symptom

  • SUP 2.1.3 or earlier is being used
  • An MBO is created that returns NULL values or accepts NULL values
  • Executing an operation on this MBO in an HWC (Hybrid Web Container) application results in an error similar to the following (In this example a DATE data type was used):

NULL date values are not currently supported in the Sybase Messaging Client.
System.FormatException: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.
