1869886 - Supplier not Found when Typing its Name in New List Price

Symptom

Supplier XYZ is not found when entering it's name for a New List Price.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the 'Product Portfolio' work center.
  2. Select the 'New List Price' Common Task.
  3. Enter the first letters of the Supplier.
  4. The system doesn't find the supplier even though it does exist in the master data.

Cause

This can happen because the Legal Competence Indicator is not set for the Supplier XYZ since in the List Price filtering, the help is based on the Indicator.

Resolution

  1. Go to the 'Supplier Base' work center.
  2. Go to the 'Suppliers' view.
  3. Find supplier XXX.
  4. Click 'View All'.
  5. Go to the 'General' tab.
  6. Under the 'Details' section there's a box 'Legal Competence'.
  7. This needs to be checked.
