1870212 - Error Message "Time Period or Duration Mandatory in Combination with Project Data"

While saving and releasing the time sheet, system throws an error message as "Time period or duration mandatory in combination with project data."

1. Go to Home work center.
2. Select the Self Services view.
3. Select the Self-Services Overview sub view.
4. Click on Edit Time Sheet.
5. Enters the duration and the work description (for that exact duration), deletes the duration and the work description (just wants to delete it and leave empty, eg. by mistake he filled in the next week).
6. Choose Save button here you can see the system throws an error message as "Time period or duration mandatory in combination with project data."

In the project, the Work Description is maintained as required for the project task which is assigned to the employee.

In this case, it is mandatory to maintain the duration when confirming project task.

Case 1:

Enter the time period or duration (it should be greater than zero) along with the work description which is mandatory for project time confirmation while recording the time sheet.

Case 2:

For deleting the entries, only remove the duration from the cell in the grid view (work list). It is not necessary to delete the work description.

This would trigger the deletion of the complete time record and leave cell empty. On save, system will not throw an error message.
