1870692 - 'JRN_IS_STAT_APP' set to 1 degrades journal entry performance: BPC-MS

Symptom

If the Application Parameter 'JRN_IS_STAT_APP' is set to 1 then any reposting or reopening of existing journals results in the automatic creation of an additional Worksheet tab in Excel named 'RptReOpenHistory' or 'RptCheckReOpen' depending on the journal operation being executed.

If the client machine is connected from a remote location without high speed connection to the server environment the generation of this tab can take several minutes each time a new journal is reposted or reopened and severely slow down the entry of new journals.

Setting 'JRN_IS_STAT_APP' to 0 will prevent the auto generation of these tabs but will also disable the automatic reopening of journals in subsequent periods.
