1872064 - DBHost source cannot be null

Symptom

The SAP System Rename Tool execution ends with an error in step GetNetworkEnv. In the sapinst_dev.log and/or stepLogMessages.xml files from the tool log directory, the following error message is displayed:

Error GetNetworkEnv: java.lang.NullPointerException: dbHost source in listener.ora or tnsnames.ora cannot be null

or 

Error GetNetworkEnv: java.lang.NullPointerException: oracleHome source in listener.ora cannot be null.
