1872239 - "WARNING: Switched to emergency log settings" on AS Java

Symptom

  • You are changing 'Count' and 'Limit' value in log configuration as per Note# 1771192;
  • After restart, you find the newly set values are not used;
  • You can find below log entry in server defaultTrace:
    " Log Manager: WARNING: Switched to emergency log settings due to:#"
    "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Argument limit have illegal value (0)! The value must be > 0!#"
