Symptom
When accessing the Self Services with the intention to maintain the workplace e-mail, there is not an according option.
The workplace e-mail is required for various scenarios, for example:
Sending cases to the Service Provider
Knowing the e-mail and phone number contact data is a requirement for forwarding cases to a service provider. Without the data, you can only save the case locally. Once the data is maintained, you can continue working with the case.
Form Output
The form framework is highly customizable. It may have been configured to add an employee/agent e-mail address printed on the custom designed form output.
Password Reset
E-mail of an employee or a service agent will be set as the e-mail of the corresponding business user which will be used in forget your password function.
