1873159 - PowerBuilder 12.1 and PowerBuilder 12.5 - SaveAs and SaveRowsAs fails to .xlsx or .xlsb with date/datetime column value of 12/31/9999

Symptom

When a datawindow date or datetime column has a value of 12/31/9999
and you try to save to an Excel .xlsx or .xlsb file, it will fail.

  • From the PowerBuilder IDE, the error message is 'Save Rows As Failed'.
  • In powerscript, dw_1.saveas("myfile.xlsx",XLSX!, false) will return -1.
