1873467 - BI 4.0 - Unable to use SQL Server synonymns in IDT or UDT

Symptom

  • Unable to see synonyms connecting to SQL Server 2008 database in Information Design Tool or Universe Design Tool using ODBC connectivity.
  • Using OLEDB connectivity, the synonyms are visible but the columns for the synonyms are not visible.
  • Able to see the synonyms in SQL Server Management Studio using the same credentials.
