1873801 - Unsupported Transaction management and Session management statements with SAP HANA stored procedures

Symptom

When trying to create a SQLScript stored procedure within SAP HANA database, one of the following errors is displayed when executing the create statement:

  • SAP DBTech JDBC: [7]: feature not supported: line 6 col 5
  • SAP DBTech JDBC: [7]: feature not supported: Session management statement is/are not supported in procedure
  • SAP DBTech JDBC: [257] (at 86): sql syntax error: Session management statement is not allowed in SQLScript: line 5 col 2 (at pos 86)
