SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio (Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010)

Reproducing the Issue

While creating a setup and deployment project with Merge Modules (.msm), the keycode property of the Merge Modules should be provided with the product key used while installing the particular Crystal Reports version.

Cause

Visual Studio ‘Help – About’ does not list any keycode for Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010.

Resolution

Installation of Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 does not need any keycode.
Thus, while creating a setup and deployment project with Merge Modules (.msm), the keycode property of the Merge Modules should be left blank.
