1874977 - Fields Related to Employee Address are Shown as Not Assigned in a Report

Symptom

You are working with a report that contains employee information, such as Employee Times: Monthly. The fields related to employee address like City (Employee), State (Employee), Country (Employee),  etc are shown as Not Assigned.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Analytics work center.
  2. Go to the Design Reports view.
  3. Open a report, e.g. Employee Times: Monthly.
  4. Click on the Add Fields button.
  5. Expand the Employee dimentions.
  6. Tick the fields City, State, Country etc and click on OK.
  7. Now add these fields to the report view.

Their value is # (Not Assigned).

Cause

The Change Workplace Contact Data is not maintained in Personal Administration work center for the respective employee.

Resolution

  1. Go to the Personal Administration work center.
  2. Go to the Employees view.
  3. Search for the respective employee and click Edit.
  4. Go to the Employement tab and click Workplace Contact Data.
