Symptom

  • Migrating content from XI3.1 to BI4 using upgrade management tool ( UMT ) fails making it impossible to migrate the folder content
  • The migration fails abruptly after choosing the folder with dependencies with a popup on the UMT as seen in screenshot below
  • Error Text: For input string: "Instance name#INSTDESC#RSIMF1" error
