1875758 - Request 0 of type 44 failed with server error : Cannot find the user, group or object ...

Symptom

The following error occurs within the CMC when choosing "User Security" for certain users.

Error:

A server error occurred during security batch commit. Request 0 of type 44 failed with server error: Cannot find the user, group or object 1515147.

These same problematic user accounts are unable to login to BI Launchpad / CMC. The error received at login is:

Error: Account Information Not Recognized: Active Directory Authentication failed to log you on. Please contact your system administrator to make sure you are a member of a valid mapped group and try again. If you are not a member of the default domain, enter your user name as UserName@DNS_DomainName, and then try again. (FWM 00006)
