Symptom
When you try to import a JDE table metadata, the following may occur in SAP Data Services Designer:
- You create the Datastore type JDE One World.
- The Import Datastore option is grey.
- Double-clicking any JDE One World table name may crash the Designer.
OR you receive the following:
DBS-4000028: Initialization
Table <PRODDTA.F060116> cannot be imported for datastore <DS_JDE_9PROD>. Possible causes: (1) Table does not exist in the
database; (2) Information for import was specified incorrectly. Check the import information and try again. If the name is
case-sensitive in the database (and not all uppercase), enter the name as it appears in the database and use double-quotation
marks around the name to preserve the case. (3) If the object is a Synonym, make sure that the object for which this synonym is
created exists in database.
Note: The JDE One World is running Oracle database backend.
