1876395 - Huge virtual memory is used by oravssw.exe

Symptom

You are facing huge consumes of virtual memory due to process oravssw.exe at your Oracle host in a Windows environment. At the Windows event log you can see messages like this:

Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: oravssw.exe (1532) consumed 20079030272 bytes

At SAP the following runtime errors may occur (ST22):

TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED
PXA_NO_SHARED_MEMORY
