Symptom
A Crystal Report based on unique ODBC connection with Access file which is secured with User Name and Password, while refreshing the report asks for login credentials for each record in the Access File.
Environment
- SAP Crystal Reports 2011
- MS Access 2007
Reproducing the Issue
-
Create a new report based on unique ODBC connection with Access File.

Refresh the report it asks for login credentials for every record in the Access file.
Resolution
-
Launch the ODBC data Source Administrator.

Click on System DSN.

Select the appropriate System Data Source Name.

Click on Configure…
-
ODBC Microsoft Access Setup window would pop up.

Click on Advanced button.
-
Provide the Login Name and Password under Default Authorization.

Click on OK.
-
Refresh the report it would ask only once for login credentials.
