Symptom

  • Attempts to shutdown the backupserver receive a "No Language Handler Installed" response
  • Any command sent by the client receives a response of "No Language Handler Installed"

Example using isql client:

isql -Usa -P -SASE_BS
1> select @@version
2> go
No language handler installed.
Language cmd: select @@version
