1877150 - User account gets disabled after failing to reset password in SAP BI 4.x

Symptom

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

  • If a user account has the following property set within the Central Management Console (CMC), "User must change password at next login", they will be prompted with the following screen when they attempt to login next. 
  • This setting can be found within the User properties page within the CMC > Users & Groups > Right click on User Name > choose Properties.

  • If the user closes the page without submitting the required information, the user account becomes disabled for all subsequent logins and the following error will be displayed until the user is re-enabled by an Administrator.
