1877303 - Sourcing Request Cannot be Created

Symptom

Sourcing Request cannot be created because of an error message. 

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
  2. Go to Purchase Requests view.
  3. Search for ABC (ABC is the Purchase Request ID). 
  4. Select it. 
  5. Click on Quick Sourcing Request button.

Error is displayed: "Sourcing request cannot be created".

Cause

The Purchase Request contains one or more limit items.

Resolution

This is the correct system behavior.

Limit items are not supported for any bidding processes. Therefore the system raises the error message.
