1877880 - Error 'Exception while reading Windows registry' in SMDAgentApplication after the configuration of a BOE 3.1

Symptom

The managed system configuration has been performed for a BOE 3.1 system according to note 1472465. Afterwards, the SMDAgentApplication log of the BOE host shows the following issue:
