Symptom
When attempting to use a Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) driver when attempting to connect to a SQL Anywhere database server (i.e. using the Interactive SQL, Sybase Central, Database Console,MobiLink Profiler tools) after performing an Emergency Bug Fix (EBF) or Support Package (SP) update, there is a java.sql.SQLException indicating that the "*.jar build does not match the shared object build" when attempting to connect to a SQL Anywhere database. *.jar can be one of: sajdbc.jar, sajdbc4.jar, jodbc.jar, or jodbc4.jar:
- java.sql.SQLException: "sajdbc.jar does not match the shared object build"
- java.sql.SQLException: "sajdbc4.jar does not match the shared object build"
- java.sql.SQLException: "jodbc.jar does not match the shared object build"
- java.sql.SQLException: "jodbc4.jar does not match the shared object build"
