1879855 - Travel Administrator Business Role Can't Be Assigned To a Service Agent/Business User.

Symptom

 

You want to assign Travel administrator business role for an user ID xxxx and the following error message is displayed :

Rule 01 for View ODT_ADMIN_EXP_REP_WCVIEW in Business Role /SAP/ODT/TRAVELADM determined no restrictions
Rule 01 for View ODT_TRAVEL_EXP_BUDGET_WCVIEW in Business Role /SAP/ODT/TRAVELADM determined no restrictions
View ODT_ADMIN_EXP_REP_WCVIEW can't be assigned since no restrictions could be determined
View ODT_TRAVEL_EXP_BUDGET_WCVIEW can't be assigned since no restrictions could be determined

Reproducing the Issue

 

  1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
  2. Go to Business Users view.
  3. Search by the user.
  4. Select the user and edit access rights.
  5. Go to Business Role Assignment tab.
  6. Assign the Travel Administrator Business Role to user..

The error message will pops up on the bottom of the screen.

Cause

You have created a service agent/Business user  which is not assigned to any Organizational Unit.

Resolution

 

Assign the service agent/Business user to an Organizational Unit and you will be able to assign the business role Travel Administrator.
