Symptom

  • BCP IN failed when using a large sized row:

bcp db_name..table_name in table.DAT -c -t'|' -Usa -SXXX -e BCP.ERR -d BCP_KO_discard

Starting copy...
Warning: Batch size adjusted to the value '1000', for the optimization of the discard-file feature.
bcp copy in failed

  • No rows were copied to the target table and the only message in the error file BCP.ERR & BCP_KO_discard was "Not transferred"
