Symptom

  • The "load database …with compression" command raises a syntax error, Msg 102 "Incorrect syntax near 'compression'" on Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE).
  • A database was dumped using  syntax  with compression=1  however when using the syntax load database with compression=1 a syntax error was raised.
