Cause

The error could be caused by either:

1. The error message occurs because the field Display Decimals of the Trading Unit of Measure activity is not maintained in Fine Tuning and you have used the decimal 1,23.

A Trading Unit of Measure is a quantity that you can define to simplify business processes. Examples would be Crate, Box, and Each.

Note:This error is valid for all Transactional Documents like Sales Order, Outbound Delivery, Return delivery, Inbound Delivery etc.

2. The Cost Unit in the Validtion tab of the Product Master Data for the Company/Business Recidence is 1,23

Resolution

This is the expected system behavior.

To maintain the field Display Decimals of the Trading Unit of Measure activity you can use the following steps:

Error message doesn't occur when saving.

Or alternatively enter a quantity without decimals in case of 1. for the item and in case of 2 for the Cost Unit in the Product Master Data.
