1882334 - Superfluous entries in CIF_IM* tables causing performance issues or issues in archiving

Symptom

  • When attempting to archive material master data, archiving is not possible because materials are still stored in the tables listed below:

    CIF_IMMARC
    CIF_IMMARD
    CIF_IMMAT
    CIF_IMMCHB
    CIF_IMMSKA
    CIF_IMMSLB
    CIF_IMPO
    CIF_IMSLS
    CIF_IMFCC

  • Performance issues when reading above mentioned tables or short dumps related to above mentioned tables e.g.

    in function CIF_IMOD_MAP_T_FCC

    * read corresponding filter object key
    SELECT * FROM CIF_IMFCC

    in function CIF_IMOD_MAP_MARD

    * read corresponding filter object key
    SELECT * FROM CIF_IMMARD
