Symptom

  • Launching Business Intelligence Platform 4.0 installation on AIX 7.1 returns the following error:
    • # ./setup.sh InstallDir=/apps/BusinessObject
      Unable to find perl either in "/apps/software/sap" or ""
      ./setup.sh[109]: /perl/bin/perl: not found.
      /apps/software/sap/setupexe -launchedFromSH
      InstallDir=/apps/BusinessObject
      Error executing command line: No such file or directory
      Finished, return code is 0
